[TRICK] Share your Files with Social Networks

Hi all.

Following the great idea from DanielKeller of twitter the files (shared here by Lance), i have gone a little further and want to share this trick, just in case someone want to use it in his files.

SHARING TOOL FOR ENVATO FILES

The best way to show how it works is including it here:

The above buttons links with the main AD Forum page. In the code you just need to change that link for the link of the file where this code is placed (IMPORTANT: change only starting at “activeden.net”, as the code for http must be kept “as is”. If someone wants to see in real action, i’ve include it in the latest file in my portfolio.

THE CODE

As you can see the images are online in free ImageShack service. They will work fine there, but anyone can place those images in their servers in they prefer. Sadly, even when all the links are refered to open in new tab/window (_blank), in AD _blank links does not work (never understood why) so they open in the same window. The icons are from Komodo Media Free Icon Set.

Linkedin image is not displaying. What do you say is not working? I’ve check the links and except the linkedin issue with the png all works fine. Post here the fixed sample and code:

Hi, but this is not related with referals, is just to share the link in the social networks accounts of the visitors. You click in each one and sends the url to the desired network, directly. So the files can get little bit more exposure, as we are giving a easy way to share the links.

But why do you need spaces? AD files URLs does not have spaces at all.
