So I’ve bought a Navigation Item @ CodeCanyon with the intent on using it in a new HTML template I’ve created. The terms regarding the extended license is very vague so I’m not sure exactly how to present the item with my product.

For instance, in my description can I add the product’s image with link and say my product includes the linked one?

Unless Envato has changed something lately, you are allowed to use a CC item on your TF template, with an extended license. You are obviuosly not allow to sell that item “as is” in this on any other marketplace.

This is the reason why many CC authors select only regular licenses for their items.
In my honest opinion, the above possibility makes absolutely non sense, mostly when you are getting just x8 of a yet low price. :(

Yeah, in a sense I completely agree. The item I bought was $5 normal and $15 extended. Great for me, not so good for the author.

But my question is actually, how do I present it/may I say “Includes X ITEM ”?

Sorry to be of no help, but I’m also wondering this same question. Hopefully someone answers it soon.

You should reference the original author, as you should do with any MIT licensed component used on your template. Also, this is not a must, but i guess is a good practise to contact the original author to let him/her know the future usage of the component.

Anyway, for this kind of thing i highly recommend to contact support directly, don’t expect an official answer for this here on forum.
