Hi,
I was planning to use flash to build a tool to provide user guidance (just a glorified menu really) to selecting which .pdf they need to complete to do whatever task.
The .swf was/is planned to run from the desktop using flashplayer, and it will target .pdf files stored on the local c: drive
I’ve been told this may not work due to flash seeing the opening of the .pdf locally as a “security issues”? I really need this type of functionality for our setup….
Are they correct that this wont work/is a security problem. Anyone know a way round it (using local .pdf storage (they are too big to download/open online each time)
Any ideas much appreciated…..
Thanks
