I have a client who wants to provide paid webcam chats through his site. I’ve never done this kind of job before.
Could you guys tell me how it can be done? I know flyingtinman have something like this. But not very sure about that.

My file is really just a webcam basics (detecting webcams, setting video formats and displaying the output in a video window in the local application. Of course, you need to know all that before you can write a video chat application, but you will also have to learn and use Adobe Flash Media Server for this. You can download a free development version (full featured but maximum 10 concurrent connections) here
I believe the download has a live video conference sample application
