I noticed that wordpress got hacked as you can see here: http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2011/04/13/security/ What do you think about this? Could this affect others communities using wordpress? Do you have others suggestions for security?
I was writing a tutorial for security measures for wordpress to plublish on nettusplus. When I saw that info today I tought to stop writting because it could not be relevent to nettusplus.

I could be mistaken, but this appears to be an isolated issue involving WordPress.com. As far as I can tell, it doesn’t have anything to do with self-hosted WordPress installations.
Please correct me if I’m wrong on this.
Yea I think it’s isolated only to their servers. Nothing to worry about.
For me, a good start with security is changing the SSH port, disallowing direct root logins, then a strong password.
