What is that, rejection and wasting my time alot ?????!!!!!

Hello everybody,

Look at the current image for my flv player

Now I uploaded the file 2 times and rejected because of the preview issues by marco and I talk to marco with the messages using the reply in my email more than one time, after I updated all things I uploaded it the third time and it was rviewed this time by RimV, and rejected because of the ActiveDen’s strict aesthetic guidelines.

Here are the messages of the rejection:

First: We’re sorry, your item HTML FLV Player Two Skins has not been approved for sale on ActiveDen. This is the reason given by our item inspector:

This File Did Not Meet Our Criteria

Unfortunately your file contains assets that appear to be copyrighted and may not have the appropriate license for resale. You have received great answers.

Let me point out a few things. Please don’t point out people/authors/reviewers on the forums. Second, please do not double/triple/quadruple post just to bump the thread ( my post bellow is a error from my browser… ) . No one has answered because you have received all the information that was requested. And last but not least. Adding ???????? and !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! until your keyboard breaks to the forum title only makes it more unreadable. The forum rules should have a few lines that might make things clear.

Step 3: Upload Your Files

Keep in mind, the reviewers have a lot of work on their plates so as soon as they find a reason to reject your file they probably click the reject button and just move on to the next file in the queue. So this is likely the reason you didn’t get all 3 reasons in a single notice.

But yeah like Enabled said, copyright stuff, file names, aesthetic guidelines and also the “files we don’t need” list are all major factors when uploading. Just make files that are appropriate for ActiveDen and also follow the upload rules and you’ll be fine. And don’t worry about getting rejected. I doubt there’s a single author here who hasn’t been rejected at least once

I think the third reason cmes too late when I take 7 days to get my file accepted or rejected, so how I get the power now to wrk on the file and update it and in my mind I think it may be also rejected again??

So I don’t like to put my files here in activeden for only the flash files , but I works fine in graphicriver

Well, If you read the upload note when you click upload you’d see a nice message that says something like ” bla bla bla … please allow up to 7 days for your file to be reviewed ” so it might take 7 days or it might take 2 days.

If your file is put on hold it means the reviewer needs a second opinion from someone else. I’d say keep trying Rejections hurt, but they also help!
