I think it should go up than $10-12K. Only the application of preparing the user photo is a huge work of coding. Apart from the graphic work behind the built-in images, masking, etc.

Also it has a level of detail that will need many hours of testing. Is such a nice developed and designed application.

I saw this before very complex not that user friendly my mom will get loss there :P

I say if in the US will start from minimum $15000 but that’s not just something you make and forget there is maintenance here update so there is a lot of charge in the long run.

Every flasher will be happy to hold something like this under his belt, good income heavy client

I believe the price should be in the range of $10-12K, though much depends upon the coutry of residence of the developers you are planning to hire ;-)

Unfortunately true. It’s sad to see that so many times that the lower price is chosen over experience and quality.

It’s an app that would easily cost 10K. I’ve done something similar (a room planner) and there’s a lot of work involved and many many hours of testing, just like Pezflash said.

I’ve tested again. I would not put my hands in something like this for less than 20.000$. Just the demo-video documentation will take many days of working with AE, hire a narrator for video… And the DDBB structure is huge.

I think it’s very easy to understimate the project. Make very sure you specify in details what you’ll be doing for the customer, otherwise you may end up having to do a ton loads of “extra minor features” which the client assumed would be included but in reality will cost you oceans of time to add later.

If you’re a good developer it shouldn’t hard to create it. :)

Yeah, common delusion before you get started ;-)

After several years working like freelance i learned one important thing: Your skills should benefit you, not your clients.

I mean, if you are quite quickly designing or developing, or you are such a smart coder to do a month job in a week, you will charge 1 month of work to the client, and you will benefit of 3 free weeks.

Sounds simple, but takes while to implement in your freelancing life.

yeah, that’s the most important thing to undestand.

if 1h job only takes 1m for you, it means you worked hard to build your skills/framework

you will charge client 1h coz the time you spent to improve yourself doesn’t come for free.
