What's Going On With the GR's Homepage?

I don’t like complaining, but…

Don’t you see, all these files (vectors, tattoo, skeletons etc…) that uploaded lately don’t sell at all. This situation is very bad for marketplace. Please check your numbers (sales) and tell me I’m wrong.

Reviewers reject our files, because “following trend” or “poor typography” or “quality aesthetic”, but do they even check homepage first?

I’m sorry, no offence to original authors, but some of the files are very poor designed, so please tell me, where is the QUALITY , you talking about?

I see only two solutions here: 1. Move, as quick as possible, all these stockart images to PhotoDune or other beta marketplace 2. Remove all items from homepage, this way all potential buyers will start using search tool.

Yet again my item lasted a day and a half on the home page maybe i am uploading at wrong times, but I don’t think some of us are getting the exposure we deserve being exclusive to envato brings no benefit except for a percentage, That’s it!

This thread started since 24 days ago but there are lots of complaint since 2 years ago not implemented, so how do you think this situation will end by this month?

you are not considering the logic behind selling vector graphics.

if you upload 1 million items and get only 1 sale per item, even they are all valued 2$ you earn 1 million dollars anyway.

see the logic?

those guys don’t actually aim to get lot of sales per item, only 1 is enough if they have tons of items in their portfolio.

Yes great logic behind it but as they get rich with 1 million graphics we suffer as we get no promotion on the homepage due to the 1 million graphics being uploaded, 2 times my item has been pushed off the home page quickly due to high numbers of similar files, Exposure for me is seriously being affected.

BUT it’s for author who upload vectors and massively approved but that’s really hurt other author who only upload one item per week or day. Maybe you’re not feel the same way since you’re one of author in GR that already earned more than $5k.

We are talking about massive approved and flood in homepage NOT the logic about sales that’s actually Envato always WIN in any situation at the end of the day.

anyway i’ve just explained to redeffect the reason of the massive uploads, not tried to justify them! and..i totally feel the same since we are all in the same boat, kaixer : )
