Why am I not in the top new authors?

I’m here from Feb 20 or something like that and I made 189 Sales in March.

How does this “Top New Authors” work? \:

Only the number of sales you made in February were eligible to get you in that list since it was the month when you first uploaded your item. It only works for the first month. Anyways, congrats for making such a good amount of sales in March.

Oh darn..

But my first month was only about 10 days. And 90% of my files were uploaded in March.

So I kind of wasted my “first month”? Crap

i know the feel, i joined on october 30th 2010 so i just had 2 days to sell as hell, lol. Then in november i made as many sales as the 1st and 2nd place from the november top new authors ranking, but i didnt appear in november list for the same reason than you.

I made a good amount of sales in march also ...but joined at the end of…February

I guess they should not make an incomplete month count as a full month.

I really thought it depends on the date that you upload your items. I mean if you upload items in march and sell them a lot so you will get ranked. Didn’t know it depends on your FIRST item that you upload. \:

i think a good solution can be using your second month instead of your first month and dont count the sales you did on your first month.

For example, lets say i joined march 25yh 2012 and i made 10 sales till the end of march, then i made 100 sales in the month of april. Then envato counts just the sales i did on april for the “top new authors” ranking.

I know my english sucks, sorry guys, i hope you understand what i say
