Seeing as PayPal process payments it seems superfluous to have HTTPS here.

Hey guys! It’s been on the cards for a while, and as ourben said, the bit where you enter your credit card details is protected via paypal, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt to have https.

We’re organising it, so we should see it within a few weeks at the most :)

While the subject is still relevant, bumping a 4 year old thread is not, which is why I’m locking it. Please stop bumping.

If you read the blog article, you’ll notice SSL had nothing to do with this leak and would in no way have prevented it from taking place. Personally I support the motion of getting HTTPS on these kind of sensitive logins, but it’s just not relevant in this discussion.
