While the subject is still relevant, bumping a 4 year old thread is not, which is why I’m locking it. Please stop bumping.
If you read the blog article, you’ll notice SSL had nothing to do with this leak and would in no way have prevented it from taking place. Personally I support the motion of getting HTTPS on these kind of sensitive logins, but it’s just not relevant in this discussion.
