In addition to our bigger competitions each year, I’m also going to host at least one mini competition each month. These won’t have specific budgets, per se, however, they should be fun nonetheless, and build up some healthy community competition!
Generally, the winner for each mini-competition will receive something along the lines of a free book, and have a collection of their best items featured on the home page for a week…things like that!
March 15th – March 21st
This week, we want to see your best JavaScript submission! The winner will receive:
- 1 web development book (hard-copy) of your choice (from a provided selection), to be mailed out within 48 hours.
- An exclusive collection of your templates advertised on the home page for 7 days.
- Featured author of the week for 7 days.
- Promotion, via Twitter, through out the week (promoting items, collections, etc.)
- Announcement on our Tumblog.
- The “Won a Competition” badge.
So this competition is for those of you who are in the process of finishing up your templates for submission. It’ll add an extra layer of fun as you finish up!
Any items submitted to the JavaScript category between NOW and March 21st, Eastern Standard Time, will be considered.

I’m confused. What does the “site template” category have to do with javascript?
Am I missing something?

it’s a copy from the themeforest comp. pretty sure it’s meant to read javascript.
Fair enough. We’ve all done that before. Damn you copy and paste.
