Looks like it is time to ask again some improvements on author payment. It is 17th October here and still didn’t receive any email about withdrawal request made on 31st September.

Just a small request, either make it possible to withdraw twice a month (as suggested by many authors before) or atleast make sure payments made within 15th of every month. In case 15th day falls on a holiday, it would be nice and helpful to see payments made on 14th or prior.

Same here at my end.

If there’s nobody at the office (ie: a weekend or a public holiday) then the payments will be processed the following business day (ie: Monday – today).

If they start giving out payments early (eg: on the 13th of 14th) then it will be more than a month until the next payment. So really – it’s exactly the same as the current method. Due to holidays or weekends then sooner or later there will be a few days more or less between payments – weather they are processed early or not.

It’s about 30 days between payments, moving the date forward might get this payment earlier, but then the next payment will be more than a month away.

Withdrawing twice a month would be too much work load for envato – they’d have to pay staff more – and I’d prefer they spend that cash on running the marketplace so we make sales.

^ Yeah, it is not a good idea to increase man hours on this.

But splitting the payment process twice a month doesn’t mean added workload. It can be like authors make withdrawal only once in a month but all payments will be processed 1st and 15th of each month. So if currently they do 5000 payments on 15th, then splitted method will do approximately 2500 on 1st and 2500 on 15th.

I don’t know if there are more complexities, upto them to decide.

Hey … my friend! :shocked:

31st September, is out of the year, there is not a day whose date is September 31, September has only 3O days.
But I agree with the idea in general and I suggest the September 31 as the date of payment :bigsmile:
