2-Level XML Tab Menu

I’m looking for a horizontal menu program with one level of drop downs just like what you have. I like the appearance of your’s a lot. Clean and professional.

The only thing I’m worried about is integrating it with my web site. I know very little about anything other than using Dreamweaver and the tools it has. I don’t know a lot about XML or Flash. All I really want is to ‘drop in’ a menu program that works easily with DW and doesn’t force me to become a technical heavyweight.

Until now, I’ve always built my own buttons and used mouse over for a special appearance. Trouble is, that only gives me one layer with no drop down selections.

Will your script do what I’m talking about? Or, if not and I buy it, can you help me integrate it with DW?

I don’t seem to be able to address frames from the xml target attribute for menuitem or submenuitem. Can you give me a sample line of code to target a frame label?

I purchased your 2-level XML Tab Menu and it works great with English, French, German and Italian. But I can not seem to get it to work with Korean, Simplified Chinese or Japanese. I see in the comments area another user inquiring about Korean and you replied that it does work with Japanese so it should work with Korean and then asked to see his menu.xml doc.

Where you able to get it to work? I am using the menu in a flash app that dynamically sets the menu xml path based on user selection. That part works fine and loads the other languages correctly. The Korean, Chinese and Japanese load but I only get blank spaces and numbers. I have tried numerous variations of the .xml file with different fonts and without numbers or other western characters. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi. I’m trying to load different swfs via each menu button. I have a container movie that I exported for actionscript on the main menu file, named “content1”. I modified the menu.xml like so:

I get an error messgae saying”cannot be load”. I do have the following actionscript in the flash file: import com.webtako.flash.*;

What am I doing wrong? Could you help please? I bought this tabbed menu for flash use only. None of your .xml files showed an example of how to link to a swf… Thanks.

One last thing: when I try to instanciate the content1 movie clip on the stage (on top of having it exported for action script), I get the following error: Error Message: 1046: Type was not found or was not a compile-time constant: content1

I am not sure if I need to give an instance name to the movie clip I want to use as a container to load my different swfs…?
