When Adobe introduced the new “Z” property in Flash Player 10 I knew I needed to start doing some flash work with three dimensional aspects to it. This slideshow is the product of many hours spent coding as well as solving math formulas that allow the gallery to dynamically display photos of different widths. It’s completely XML driven and the different elements of the file can easily be modified to fit your needs by modifying the XML file (no need to open the fla at all).
Because this file uses AS3 and Flash Player 10’s 3D properties (not Papervision 3D) the file runs a lot lets hot or less processor intensive. The other added benefit is that the file size of the swf file is also extremely light weight (13kb).
So whether you want to use it as slideshow for your latest vacation or to showcase your most recently completed project let the 3D Cube spin give it that extra shine.
