Are the classes for the particle system, UI, ect part of the download too? Or is this strictly a component, was wondering if I would be able to get behind the scenes and see how this resource was built.
thanx
Does anybody have an example of how to integrate this component into a Flex solution? After purchasing it, it didn’t include a Flex example, and I’m having trouble getting it working. I sent Cid a note, but haven’t heard back, and am under some time pressure. Thanks in advance for any pointers.
Hi Cid.
Amazing AS3 work… I’m speechless! Can’t believe I haven’t seen this on ActiveDen and it’s been here for awhile. I’ve been looking for something like this forever to figure out how to use AS3 and make websites with amazing FX like these.
Pure magic! Keep it coming.
cool ,great work
Component is awesome, easy to use mostly, however I’m trying to work out how to edit the default particle – I want to adjust its initial alpha so that it never gets to 100% density – how do I do that? or how do I create and add my own particle?
Hi JanetWired!
Thanks for purchase!
To change the default particle simple set the url or linked name of your own particle to the source value of the component.
To reduce the density of the whole component you can set the alpha value of the component lower than 1.
You can contact me at my e-mail address if you have more questions.
hope this helps. Good luck, cid
Hi, this is a great item. Works really well. However it does not work in the xml as3 flip books. Must be some kind of conflict. It does work with the Partigen app. Is there a fix for this.
Thanks
Hi 22daisy2!
Thanks for purchase.
I don’t know the flip-book apps you use. Maybe there is a problem to load the particle symbol inside the page-container of the flip-book where the particle-display is loaded. Do you use a particle symbol from library or from a file? Do you use a preset.xml to configure the particles or with the component-inspector from flash?
Please answer my questions at my email address.
Thanks, cid
Hi there,
Would there be a way to download the flex project? I’m having some issues integrating the component in one of my apps..
Thanks much.
Hi,
Does is possible to save as screenblanker?
Best regards Nor
Hi npinelo!
What is a “screenblanker”? If you mean a screensaver than the answer is yes. It’s possible but you need a tool like InstantStorm or another tool to convert the swf file in a screensaver file.
