HI there, I love the scroll but I also get “There’s a weird little ‘bounce’ as each item scrolls across the page. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? How can I smooth it? How can I disable the link completely? Many thanks and have a good weekend! Zan

Hi Random, I have successfully resized the images and rollover text field is in place where I would like it. But…when I go to load this movie externally into an empty movieclip, I get “undefined” and no pics. Do I need to restructure something? I’m not that great at action scripting yet.

Also, can I make the images load another external swf and not a url? This would make my life better.

Can you make the width of the xml images 100%?

So if they all have a uniform height say 300 pixels, can they keep their individual widths? rather than having to crop them as squares?

in the .fla i put the number of items (21). in th .xml i’ve copy/paste the code for the 21 items.

and i can see only the 9 first items… the rest it’s only a black stroke square.

how to fix that?

Whats going on here? Does the Publisher or Flashden check the files before they put it on this site? We all know that macs are not as strongly represented as windows computers in the www, but it must run on both OS without problems!!! It is not the first time that Files from Flashden (dynamic – xml) are not working on mac browsers.

I resized the pictures (line – but just wired looking pictures coming out – it seems like the size is not changing and because my pictures are “widescreen” you can imagine how it looks like. I manually changed the Rollover Square that it fits the Size of the Images – ok this works but the Size oft the Images is still not right. I bought this file because I had to do a fast job for a client, and now I sit here – 3 hours and this lousy file is not working on Mac and seems to be difficult to change the size of the Images!!! This file is declared as “dynamic”. Whats so dynamic on this file? Because it hast his content in an external Folder? It would be dynamic if it reads dynamically the size of the Images for Example. I must say I am really dissapointed and pissed off – I want my money back – This file is a joke…

Just a quick note to say after purchasing this that it is not as easy to manipulate the code as suggested. However with 20 mins of hacking it about… I got it to what I wanted.

Can I suggest an easier way to find the image scale… setting the distances and options for simple slide without mouse over.

Other than that it all works pretty good.

I’m having the same problem as others are having and have not seen a solution posted.

This Slider disappears on Mac’s using Safari. Is there a fix for this? Please let me know if there is.

I am forced to reload the entire page to get the slider to appear after it disappears.

this disappears on all browsers if you open a new window then return to the window with the scroller?? any thoughts on fixes??

correction it seams firefox and safari ha for once ie it shows fine.

I purchased this file over a year ago and it worked great but now the client asked to updated the images and add new items to the slider and as in previous posts the slider started to disappear on both Mac and PC platforms on all new browsers.

“Random” would you be updating this file to work on new browsers? I am assuming if this file is still for sale it should work on new browsers otherwise this is outdated file and should not be used.

Please comment on this issue as I think everyone is waiting for your reply.
