The effect is great, however, requires some code cleaning, formatting and rewriting to convert the nested movie clips to ActionScript (AS) standards. It’s basic AS controlling a keyframed effect movie clip, but with some tweaking can be easily converted for use in a AS2 or AS3 class.

As a musician and designer, having taught myself the basics of AS, I’m pretty pleased with the outcome too. I’d be very happy to see someone take it and optimize it further!
For simple banner image display purposes though, it’s all about the effect here really.
