Advanced Endless Images Strip

Overview:

This is xml driven advanced endless images strip. The images are moving endlessly on the stage.
Can be used with links on mouse press, or without.
Can be used for web sites, as well for flash projects, as photos or products presentation.
Included source code files, working example html file with 3 different strip configurations.

Main features:

- Lightweight: Only 7.6 kb published swf size.

- Small cpu usage: You can use how many images that you want. The images are being created near their appearance in stage, and removed from the stage nearly after they leave it, so the strip is always moving in the same speed, no meter how many images there is, and it reduces cpu usage.

- Smart load: The strip has smart loading mechanism. If some link to the image is broken, the strip will be still working with all other images. There is an option to start the strip not after all images are loaded, but after 5 images for example. The rest of the images will be loaded as the strip moving. This will save preloading time.

- Flexibility: There is many options that may be set via xml file. Some of them are shown in the preview:

• Speed of the strip. Set to any number. Including decimal ones ex – 2.5
• Gap between pictures
• Height of the strip – all the images will be dynamically resized to this height.
• Random order – on/off
• Start direction – left/right
• Show reflection – on/off
• Reflection gap
• Show border – on/off
• Border width
• Border color
• Stop on mouse over – on/off
• Y position from the top of the stage.
• Animation on start – on/ off
• Fill the area with images before start – on/off
• Go to link on mouse press – on/off
• Mouse over type: Border: the image change border color , in the strip and in the reflection. Gradient: them image covers with gradient layer. You can set via xml the gradient Color. You can all more gradient layers in .fla file. Solid: the image covers with solid color layer, with specific transparency. You can set the color and the transparency via xml.

Fully editable, well documented , opens in Flash 8 with AS2 . All the gradient layers can be changed and updated easily through the library.
