Note: Please bear in mind that the preview is a fully functioning working example of the subscription system and if you subscribe your email address, other people who ar testing it out will be able to send you emails and see your email address, similarly, to test the full functionality of this subscriber system, you will need to use a working email address.

Description:

This is a very easy to use subscription management system which doesn’t need a mySQL database to function, this means you don’t have to pay extra to have the functionality of a secure mailing list management system.

It comes with an easy to use installer which will guide you through the process of setting up your subscriber system.

This product also comes with a Black Gloss skin which you can use in an AS2 flash project or just embed it in your html page if you don’t have flash. It also comes with an easy set-up AS2 flash template and a HTML form template.

Requirements:

• A PHP compatable web server.

( This file has been fully tested with a PHP4 and PHP5 server, pear needs to be installed aswell, this usually comes as default with php, and if pear is not installed with php, it is very easy to get it to work by adding files to the subscribe folder )

Version 1.0:

No mySQL Database Needed:
Yep, that’s right, your server does not need to have a mySQL database, the subscription system uses it’s own files to store any information. That means you don’t have to deal with the extra cost of a mySQL compatable web server. The system uses 3 main automatically generated text databases:

Secure Login System:
The login to the administration panel is very secure and you don’t need to worry about people getting access to your subscribers list. Special care has also taken place to ensure that do do any administrative actions, you need to know the password. Every action that takes place requires the administrator to be logged in, if at any point when someone is logged into the administrator panel, the password changes (another administrator changes the password or uploads a different config.php file), the person who is logged in will not be able to do anything.

Advanced Administrator Interface:
The administrator interface is very intuitive and easy to use. You can delete, edit and email different subscribers in all three databases. You can easily change the settings of the subscriber system. You can easily add entries to the database. You can easily send a mass email to all subscribers. You can select with each email whether you want to include an unsubscribe footer.

Send full HTML Emails:
The emails you send are fully html compatible, you could even send web pages instead of html if you wanted.

Customise every html / email:
Every single web page and every single email is fully customiseable and supports full html. so there is no limit to how much branding you can do.

Use any post method:
Not only can you subscribe through flash objects, but you can subscribe through html forms aswell!

First Use Installer:
For the first time you install this subscription system, you can use the step-by-step installer to guide your setup of the subscription system, it is very detailied an easy to use.

Notifications:
You can set the system to send you an email every time someone subscribes or everytime someone unsubscribes, or both. You can also set the system to notify a certain email address when you subscribe them in the administrator panel, or when you unsubscribe them.

Password Recovery:
As long as you have access to your web server, it is very quick, easy and safe to recover your username and password, or any other settings.

String Replacement:
As well as being compatable with html emails, you can also insert a user’s name, email or unsubscribe link to any email, mass email or html page. For example, if you wrote in a mass email: Dear [SUBSCRIBER NAME ], thank you for joining our mailing list. Firstly… [SUBSCRIBER NAME ] would change to the subscriber’s name for each subscriber.

Updates:

All the new updates come with easy 1-click updaters which also allow you to configure any new settings which are avaliable.

Version 1.1:

Send Emails via SMTP
Due to pupular demand, you are now able to setup the subscriber to send all the emails via an SMTP email address. A few people don’t have their server setup to send emails, or they do not want to use up their server’s email service. With this new feature, you are able to send as many emails as you want through any email service of your chosing.

Customise From Headers:
You can customise on the emails what is displayed for the FROM fields, and what reply address users can use (this does not effect the fields in the “send mass email” and “send single email” functions.

Improved Interface:
A few improvements have been made to the administrator interface:

• Pressing enter to login after entering login details.
• Scrolling the settings and spacing them out a bit.
• Allowing mouse wheel to scroll entires and settings.
• Correction to a few headers.
• Adding a progress animation when adding entries.

Included Skins:

Black Gloss:
An easy to use, sliding subscribe component, you can easily change the colors whether you usethe AS2 version, or the html embed only version. This button can be easily implemented into any AS2 flash project. Also can be used just to embed into a html page.

Flash AS2 Template:
The product comes with an AS2 flash template to guide you through the process of creating your own advanced subscribe button. Included is a debugger to tell you whether you do anything wrong.

HTML Form Template:
Also included is a template for using html forms to send the data to the server, they are very easy to use and you don’t need to have flash to use it.

Future Updates:

• Export databases as .csv.
• Choose between immidiate subscription / confirmation email with link sent.
• Choose between immidiate unsubscription / confirmation email with link sent.
• Delete all entries from specific databases.
• More skins and themed subscribe / unsubscribe buttons.
