Hi Sandlog,

The player hasn’t been specifically designed for that purpose but would play streamed videos. It would need a little adjustment in terms of buffering though, which i could look at for you if you are unsure of.

tempting – but i’d be really bummed if it didn’t work with my streaming files. i’ve already bought 2 files on here and they didn’t work.

Nice file….I applaud your effort at being different as far as the navigation for invidual videos goes because it gives a chance to put in a lot of detail text about the video being watched but I just don’t like the two arrows…..they don’t give any idea as to how many videos in the catagory.

Well done on including catagories btw.

really great work and will be watching to see if you upgrade , change or modify this in future.

Hi ravenwill nice video player, thanks so much it works great, but I have 2 questions, does this player supports AVI files or should I convert them into FLV files?, my second question is about the dynamic GillSans font. How can I change it?, every time I try to change the dynamic text with my own fonts the dynamic text disappear, I notice that you embedded the GillSans font on the FLA , I right click on this and went to the properties and assigned another font but the dynamic text disappear again, should i look on the AS file?, thanks

Hi Elegbariel,

No unfortunately all AVI ’s have to be converted into FLV ’s as is the case with most flash based video players.

Secondly with regards to font. Try going into the library on the FLA , select the dropdown near the top and select New Font. Create the new font here and make sure its selected for export.

All the dynamic textfields have embedded fonts and therefore this should solve your problem. Obviously you will need to publish the swf again after these stages to see the effect.

Nice presentation although I would like to have seen a video that has audio in order to make sure the volume control works.

I need a video player to replace one that came with flashden full xml website V3 – which has no volume control.

man yooo u did work hard but make sure to put down:

1. FLV /Videos.

Optimum dimensions for the FLV ’s are 640×480. In some cases if FLV ’s are not these exact dimensions a small amount of distortion may occur at playback.

where it supports only f4v format only.

these are the lines u incorporated in help file which u did not included in discription which is totally deceving man.please make sure to incorporate not useful for flv format.

What do you mean? The file does play flv format, in fact all of the videos in the preview are flv’s from flashden

Hi Janc,

No unfortunately you can only play Youtube videos legally through Youtubes chrome player, with this video player you need the directory to an .FLV file thats accessible, YouTubes .FLV’s aren’t.
