Solidbeats, it does for me in ff. It only won’t if you put in a number that could be followed by another number. for example if you put in a 1 it’s not going to bump you to the next input box because you could be wanting to put in a 10.

Is there anyway to tweak this script so that the date input fields will auto tab even if the user inputs the 01?

actually that fix only works for people born on Jan 1. The other 364 days of the year have issues. Still trying to figure out a fix. Let me know if you figure it out.

It tabs automatically if the user puts in anything where it can tell that the user is done with that field. For example: if the user puts 6 into the date field, it knows there is no such date as 60- 69 and can therefore move to the next field. If the user puts in 1 they may or may not be done.

For those users that put in 01 instead of 1 I thought that bit of code would make it automatically tab. If it doesn’t I would be happy to look at it more closely as a freelance project. Please email me for a quote. Thanks.

I made the changes for the 01 date. However, now it focuses to the next field after I type in 1, not just 01. So, I can’t type anything after I type 1 (11 for instance).

Does this flash file store a cookie to the user so the next time they visit the site or watch a video on the site they dont get asked again.. ?

rmg, that’s why it works the way it was and I didn’t change it to move after typing in 1 or 2.

I’m having issues trying to get this to work with someone that is ‘21’ years of age. If I set the targetYear to 21 – someone can enter a future date (up to 5 days from today’s date), 21 years ago, and it still let’s them in.

So – for example – today is 4-7-2009. If someone entered 4-8-1988, it would still let them in.

Any ideas?

Im having the exact same problem as jprzybylski. The age check is not accurate.
