+3 morenice one.. but when you select all the written text it shows the first character…
It only shows the first selected character whenever multiple characters are selected.
I think this is a good behavior; showing all characters may pose a security threat; the guy standing behind you may easily press CTRL +A to see your password
Nice file, kutu!

+2 moreNice, still I think someone standing behind you could easily remember the symbols you typed.
Thank you all for your feedback.
How often to you people standing around and watching as you type your password? This component is designed to give the user correct the error if it is accidentally mistaken the symbol, and re-typing the entire password is tedious. Moreover, such an unusual way to enter a password, the user will understand that fighting for his convenience.
My phone has this.
Can this control support prompts, for example, ‘Password’ or ‘Enter Password’....we are currently using the PromptingTextInput (http://code.google.com/p/flexlib/wiki/ComponentList) but would like to incorporate the bullets rather than asterisks
no, sorry
but if you’re a good programmer, you can add this functionality, or move out of my functional component in PromptingTextInput, at your own risk

+9 moreShowing first – its a good trick! Works fine, ctrl+a, mouse or key selection shows only first. That’s cool and safely, though I prefer enter password blindfold.
