This doesn’t seem to work correctly. I placed a new layer of text over the background and when I export it, the text does not show?

don’t place text in the CubesBackground movie clip, place it on new layer of stage or movie clip where you put CubesBackground mc. In preview I did that… You can see it works…

the problem why it is not working is that you say just drag and drop, when you just drag and drop the library files do not move to an other scene, so you have to move library files too,

The script works great, I was able to modify your file and do what I needed to with one exception. I need to add a link to this from scene 1 (with your script) to scene 2 (which I have animated the squares breaking apart). When I add an invisible button over the script, the mouse illumination disappears. When I put a button below, the cursor roll-over works but the button does not. The “go to and play, Scene 2” needs to be in the scipt somehow but I am not sure where to modify that in your existing script and I do not see anything in the script’s documentation to explain how to do this within the ActionScript..

Put gotoAndStop(2) in button you want to use.

Button.onRelease = function() { gotoAndStop(2)}

It is hard to make any flash animated background to work fine on that screen resoluiton… Try making squares bigger then now, 2-3 times…
