very nice
nice menu!
thats actually really good!
hopefully once i wanna start creating my own site ill purchase this!
Yeah. Nice. I like that. Oh yeah.
Great menu and actually my first purchase. The two supporting xml files are very comprehensive even for beginners. I was easily able to change the text, colouring and horizontal spacing of the links. The width of menu is easily editable too simply by changing the background and gloss layers.
This completley justifies for me the purchasing of flash components rather than building a replica from scratch. Time is a crucial commodity for us designers after all
thanks DominorNovus – glad this file was useful
thanks whoever it was who rated without asking for help
hi bjorn,
I’m back again, firstly I forgot to rate; can you advise me on how to remedy this.
Secondly a query that I’m hoping you can respond to quickly:
My menu is grey with a black mouseover but as it loads you can still see the background colour as black. This lasts for only a second but I want change it nonetheless.
Will a preloader sort this or is there something I need to configure?
well the quick and dirty way is edit the color of the movieclip on the background layer – this will display as the fill color until the xml files are loaded. not quite sure about the rating – i haven’t actually purchased a file from flashden !
Bjorn:
I purchased this script and am having one slight problem with it. It loads fine on IE7 , IE6 and FoxFire.
Not so good with Safari. Won’t load up the first time. Keep having to refesh the screen. I’m running Safari on a MacBook with intel chip and latest MAC operating system. Adobe flash 9 is loaded in Safari.
Please advise.
I’m happy to give you the URL if you can contact me.
Thanks
Bjorn:
Does this menu work with external links as well or just website root ?
Awesome Menu – VERY Easy to use
Question: Is it possible to have the selected item lock background color when on given page?
Thanks Again,
Lawrence
One thing you might want to add in the next revised version is how to make it link to keyframes on a file or something. I figured out how to do it but it might be a cool thing to implement.
Is there a way to make the menu stack vertically
