AS2 XML Minimal Media Gallery

Hi Parker,

just downloaded another one of your files. I’m using it for my design portfolio. I have one issue. I have a couple galleries that only have one image. when I view this gallery and then roll over the menu, the thumbnail menu is grayed out. Ok, this makes sense because there is only one image. The problem is when I visit another gallery, after this one, with multiple images and I roll over the thumbnail menu again, it is grayed out as well. I have the menu set for both sides. When I visit a “one image gallery” and roll over the thumbnail menu on the left side. For the next “multiple image gallery”, this thumbnail menu will be grayed out, but the thumbnail menu on the right will be fine. That is until I click on the right thumbnail menu after visiting a “one image gallery”, then the same thing happens to this one. It seems as if the button remembers that there were no thumbnails and stays that way. Any ideas.

I also tried it with your example and it does the same. I deleted all images except one from the first gallery and the same thing happens.

Awesome product and VERY well documented!!!

I do have one question: I’d like to change the background color so that it matches the background color of my html file (#1D2123). When I change the BG color in the XML Gallery_Settings file to #1D2123 the BG color of the swf file changes to black. ???

...better yet, is there a way to set the background of the movie that contains the gallery to transparent?

Hi,

I sent you an email 2 weeks ago and haven’t heard back yet. I purchased this gallery and am using it for a current project. The problem is that many of the gallery items (thumbnails and full size) will not load once the gallery is uploaded to the website. However, when previewing the .swf file or the gallery page in web design program, the gallery works fine.

Can you help please?

I purchased your minimal media gallery and it’s beautiful! However, I am having an issue with all of the images and thumbnails not loading. I believe that the number of files is unlimited. I got up to 9 thumbnails and images that load just fine, but when I try to load the 10th file though the xml file, the thumbnail or image doesn’t load. Its in the same path and folders as the other image and thumbnail files. Do you know why this is??

Hi Parker, I just purchased your xml photo/video gallery and seem to be having an issue with the slideshow when I upload to my server. The slideshow freezes after displaying a few images. Hey Parker – I’m sure this is probably the last thing on your radar, but I’m wondering if it’s possible to have the Galleries Thumbs load when you land on the site. So people can just select which gallery they’d like to view first?
