AS2 XML Multi-Categories Minimal Video Gallery

I hope that you are well and getting good sales!

I purchased your Gold & Black template a while ago – am still really pleased with it. I needed to add a video gallery that was a bit more swish than the one supplied, so I purchased this file. As I suspected, the insertion of the file into the template is a little problematic. I am trying to insert it into one of the files where it says your_design on a layer.

The _x and _y of the gallery snaps to the root timelines _x and _y, and worse, the xml path seems broken – even though I have double checked it. However the file now has two xml paths, one to the videogallery.xml and another to the xml file which basically sets the width, colour and transparency of the files background.

Can you please advise or even take this on as a freelance job?

I am pretty desperate to add this finishing touch.

Terrific player….how difficult of an AS2 code change would it be to have the ‘slideshow’ function work not just within a category, but continue on to the first video of the next category, and so on, until the last video is played?

Hi Parker … first of all … wow!!! A very cool tool. But let me ask someting. I see trhat you have for each video a short info text. But … is it possible to have on text for all? Without filling the xml with all the same text? I see that you handle the info from line 328 on: __root.clip_info.description.htmlText = __root.videoGalleryTexts[this.arrayIndex];

So I think I should only change the xml a little. Any tip for me? Cheers, Micha
