AS3 / PHP / MySQL Membership System (Normal Style Login)

Looks like a good file.

Can it hold more features on the profile area? Images, favourite videos, order history etc….....??

P.S – are you a west ham fan?

The potential of this file is limitless. You can add anything you wish. I’ve done customized sites that use my login where the user can upload their own avatar, view other members, use your own background on the web site etc. Those are just some examples.

I actually dont watch soccer much, but if I was to choose it would be man u because my friend is a giant chelsea fan so I like to get under his skin with that

So I can give registered users access to videos, images and text which is secure and o other users can access?

They can choose from a background image, upload their own and use it for background or profile image (bit like myspace I suppose)??

How easy it for someone who knows nothing of AS and php?

I am VERY interested. How difficult would it be add an account expire date from the time-of-first-register? This would prohibit further login.

Also I want to use predetermined, fixed passwords that will be assigned by user’s supervisors. Hard?

I might be able to customize with my pathetic knowledge of AS3 . but could you also quote on making these changes?

Rondog, thanks for the file, save’s me a lot of time =)

Am using godaddy.com hosting.

1. With the myphpadmin that godaddy.com offers, I import the database.

2. I check inside Mysql Database Information/View Details and I found my: hostname, username, password, databasename, and the table name i didn’t change it. With this information i change the comments of config.php for my personal/database informations.

3. I upload the files to my host. Membership.swf, membership.php and the folder php whit all the files that includes. And create a new folder in the hosting called “pathto” were i put the setpw.php.

4. I charge my page www.example.com/membership.php. Appears the flash. I make a new user, but says error communicating with database.

-My question is: I have to upload to the js folder maybe?

and now.. try to mix my homepage in flash, whit the login.. =P

Is there any way too manage the users on that are registered? How would that work? do you have a demo for the interface(if any)?

I got another question taht I want to add a button in “LoggedInWindows (Welcome_Text screen)” for external link to another awf file and when press this button the Welcome_Text screen will be closed.

I need stand alone swf to work on html site. I am planning a site for about 1000 member property owners association, but I am not sure exact which version to get.

I will already have their email addresses set up and send each a password or all the same password (like a gated community).

The entrance will be to a blog where they post (php form) their questions and concerns.

Any thoughts or questions of me before you suggest the right version?
