AS3 XML Simplicity Gallery

Hey sike,

Do you have an image rotator? or know a good one?

I need a swf that displays pics with fade ins/outs with captions. No menus or controls. Has to be resizeable for different webpage configurations. Colors have to be customizable.

I have $8 left in my account. lol

I need to change this to a smaller size now.

This gallery is NOT RESIZEABLE like you posted it. Is it?

It cant go lower than 900×720.

Hi, you need to have some basic actionscript knowledge or hire a freelance guy if you want to change or add some element. I only give bug fix ( remember not a new feature request ) support. The unlimited problem I has declared in the description. Thanks.

gawd1 I think what is happening here is your XML file after editing has an error… possibly where the 41st image is entered there is an error in that line which prevents any further entries to be loaded into the Flash. Open your XML in a browser window and check if there are any errors and correct if necessary and then replay the Flash.

There is no errors.

The xml is straight forward, like the example.

I appreciate your concern but it really doesnt matter. This gallery is not unlimited like it was said in the beginning. That feature was most important to me.

Im not being difficult here. Im going to miss my Monday’s deadline to preview this new site.

Sike handled me poorly and I dont trust him now. Instead of trying to make his product work for me, he tells me I need to hire a freelancer to corrrect his mistakes or buy his new viewer coming, whenever.

Comments cannot be changed, or modified by ANYONE . Not by us moderators, and not even by the person in charge of reviewing negative comments.

Dude, seriously, if something doesnt work, ask help from the author, dont spam his comments page.

First thing you need to ask yourself: Does the file work as it says in the description? If so, but it has a bug, the author will probably give you a free bugfix. If you tried to change something, and then it doesnt work, its not the authors fault.

If the file doesnt work as it says at all, contact the author or support, they can help you out. So stop flaming sike, hes done a great job on this one.

And another thing…

I just read on the forums that authors do have the ability to edit comments, but its disabled for the weekend coz the site is doing some maintenance.

I think its a bad idea to edit comments.

You can have good guys like me getting ripped of by guys like sike and new buyers wont know coz the author will delete his warnings.

Just like Sike did.

I am trying to have multiple versions of the gallery on the same website (embedded on different html pages). Is it possible to get the flash file to call upon different xml databases?
