This is the very first application on ActiveDen which is based on the Augmented Reality Technology. You can use the application without flash or flex or any coding. The included XML -file gives you control for all necessary properties. You can change the number of the candles from 0 to 100 and use your own image for the label on the top of the cake. The application is based on ActionScript 3 and contains a Flex-3 and Flash-CS4 version with fullscreen option

What is Augmented Reality?
Augmented reality is a realtime motion tracking technology merged with 3d simulation. It’s a combination of real video environment and virtual 3d environment.
Here you find some examples about augmented reality: http://gigantico.squarespace.com
The basic tool to develop it in flash is the Flash Augmented Reality Tool kit (FLAR-ToolKit ). The FLAR -ToolKit is under the GPL license and can download free at this link: http://www.libspark.org/wiki/saqoosha/FLARToolKit/en
For more information about the FLAR -ToolKit read this link: http://www.insideria.com
