I’m trying to use this on a website that I built on a Windows app called WYSIWYG Web Builder. It’s a drag and drop website building program that makes it easy to insert Flash files into your existing site, but I must not have the files in the right location or perhaps I’ve missed a setting or configuration that needs to be modified for it to work. I’ve place all of the folders (image, xml, etc) into the root folder of my website, plus the javascript file and .fla and .swf files. Am I missing something? Please help!

Thanks!!

I might add that my index page is home.html and not index.html—could this be the problem?

UPDATE : Fixed it. I renamed the home page to index.html and found that the app wasn’t placing all of the directories and files into the published version of the site. I just copied everything over manually and voila! Excellent slideshow, thank you very much!!

I have a path problem.

test.html page containing the swf is at the root of the site. gallery.swf is in a folder : structure/diapo_index. So the code in test.html is structure/diapo_index/gallery.swf

“configuration.xml” and “gallery1.xml” are located in the folder “xml”: structure/diapo_index/ So from the root of the site : structure/diapo_index/xml/configuration.xml structure/diapo_index/xml/gallery1.xml

The folder “images” is also in the folder structure/diapo_index/ So from the root of the site : structure/diapo_index/image/category1/myimage.jpg

I do test.html : structure/diapo_index/gallery.swf

gallery1.xml I do not change the file :

configuration.xml I change : <?xml version=”1.0” encoding=”utf-8”?> <!- URL XML -> structure/diapo_index/xml/gallery1.xml [...]

It doesn’t work. Please help me

In XML files, you must enter the root pathway (terms the file “test.html”)

I’m sorry to disturb you but it doesn’t work. in file test.html i have :

In the file configuration.xml :

structure/diapo_index/xml/gallery1.xml

In the file gallery1.xml :

item title=”Title Image 1 Desc” format=”color:0xFFFFFF,size:25” title_x=”300” title_y=”230” picbig=”structure/diapo_index/image/category1/1.jpg” url=”http://www.google.com”/>
