Blobfest

Welcome to the awesome world of the Blobs – there’s nothing to be afraid of.. until you suddenly run into a massive amount of Blobs who seem to have decided they want to go exactly the opposite direction as you were going.

This animation can serve you greatly as an intro, a background, a screensaver or generally an entertaining cartoon to play along the sides of your website or project.

As this animation takes place inside a movieclip, it’s really easy to drag and drop. Also, as there is a mask applied that automatically takes the size you set the animation to, you can easily implement it without having to worry about blobs not hiding behind the edges correctly!

This animation might seem static, but in fact it is everything but that. After the blobs have passed through to the other side, they completely change their properties like colour, speed and location, and start their journey all over again.

Besides, there are heaps of settings for you to define:

• The width and height of the field in which the Blobs move
• The minimal and maximal speed between which a random speed is chosen
• The amount of different colours in which the blobs will appear
• The amount of blobs per colour
• Should the blobs change their colour upon returning to their starting position?
• Should the background of the animation be transperant? Of course, you can just paste in your own personal background as well!
