I’m sorry but I’m unfamiliar with flashvars. However, I’ve found a good tutorial for you here: http://www.permadi.com/tutorial/flashVars/index.html
If you want to change the “hard coded” xml path, all you have to do is give the component on the stage an instance name, say myComponent, and use the code below to change its default XML path:
myComponent.xmlSettings = "your_xml_filename.xml";

is it possible to have it set up so that not any two of the same logos are visible at one time?
Explanation:
I am showing 4 logos… when randomly selecting logos it sometimes shows two of the same logo. I would like them to all be different all the time.

Great file! Is there a way to have only 1 row? I have an event website that needs to show sponsors. I am hoping to list the sponsors in the footer of the site.
I need to know if I can take my 12 logos and:
1. Show only 1 row of 7 logos in my footer
2. but have the 12 logos rotate in and out of the 7 spaces without creating additional rows.
Hope this makes sense! Thoughts?

Fist of all, awesome file!
Here is my question. I am trying to have an image one at a time without repeating any image. I should be able to get this working with an class array. However, I get an error opening url “undefined ” on export. I traced it and it worked just fine… so, no clue what’s going on
If it is not too much to ask, would you please shed some light on this?

I’m not sure what exactly you’re trying to achieve. I’m assuming you need the application to display the new image without repeating the previous one. Is that what you need? I might think of a solution to address this problem, so if you’re interested I suggest you hire me to do the job for you for a reasonable hourly fee.
