You need to add an onReleaseOutside. If you click the button and drag your mouse off there is an error.

Yeah, it grows infinitely if you click and drag off of the button. lol.

Click inside the button, release outside, until it’s as big as you have only white before your eyes. Then press right click. There you have an awesome effect

You should also disable the tab

If I duplicate this and have a few buttons next to each other, how do i ensure that the current button selected will overlap the others when it gets bigger, and not be behind the smaller one?

btw, I have them all on the same layer.

For that you should use an script that changes the depth of the button with the mouse over.

Add the next line of code to the on(rollOver) event for the button:

this.swapDepths(_parent.getNextHighestDepth());

it should look like this:

on (rollOver) { // dont delete this bounceOut(); this.swapDepths(_parent.getNextHighestDepth()); }

The very easy way Just double click the bouncingButton instance to edit it. Then move to the left the button and the image (image layer and buton layer). thats it!
