bPopUp - multipurpose inner flash popup window

bPopUp is an incredible component for displaying content in form of a popup, window or alert. It can load external text from an XML styled with CSS StyleSheets, textFormat and HTML formating. It can also show external images or .FLV and also movieclips from library. Detailed description here Highly tested and updated!

Features

It offers great features like:

General:

• everything is done just by calling a function
• beeing a Flash component and is extreamly easy to use and customize. It has many properties and parameters wich can be accesed through script or from component inspector
• totally resizable like a normal component and everything readjust to your given dimensions
• extreamly easy to skin everything
• it auto resizes to the size of the content, and after this if the final size of the Popup is greater than your stage width and height it resizes to the maximum size available so that it doesn’t show of the screen

External XML text:

• uses a CSS StyleSheet for a better formatting the text
• It has support for subscript and superscript so from now it’s extremely easy to write for example: x² or H₂O. Just use ^{and _tags}
• you can insert symbols wich aren’t on your keyborad with a great ease, just write ”\pi” or ”\beta” without the spaces and you get ? and ?. So writing for example: ?²·?=?·?·log₂5 is a piece of cake
• except those you can add much more characters from char map: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ï é ö ? ? ? ? Î Â ….
• has a built in ScrollBar so if the text is larger than the area you have you can set its scrollbar to true and everything will be automatically done by the component
• auto hide scrollbar if it is not needed

External Images, Movies and Library Movieclips:

• can load .jpg, .png, .swf, .flv
• automatically resizes to the content
• movieplayer skin can be changed
• scrollbars are added if needed
