• Synopsis
  
  The program is specifically designed to allow you to register, activate and control multiple registered users on a flash website. If you have a client password protected area and need to allow users to sign up for service, then specifically determine what folder(s) that they can access on a server, this is the app for you. Each time someone signs up, you have the option of activating an account immediately, or activating after reviewing the information. Then, assign a specific folder to that client on your server. Once the client logs in, they can only browse the folder you have assigned to them. This application is perfect for people who have design services which require secure client access, or for music, audio, picture, etc. All client folder assignment functions are handled through a flash based admin panel.
  
  The unique feature that makes this application so useful is that users can browse available files on the server as it appears in an ftp site, but it is all handled through flash. No linking files to an html page, just upload to a folder, user logs in, sees the file, click the save button and it’s all done.

• How to install component

  
  
  
  1. Modify the scripts (follow comments inside scripts)
     Mandatory:
     phpf/settings.php
     phpf/db.php
     phpf/INSTALL.php (only admin creation part)
     settings.as
     
     Optional:
     phpf/register_user_msg.php (The email sent to you (admin) when a user registers)
     phpf/restore_msg.php (The email being sent out to user when a password restoration is requested)
     email_form.as (Email templates in the newsletter feature)
     
     
  2. Compile SWF
     Open cms.fla and compile it (CTRL + ENTER )
     
     
  3. Upload
     Upload files and folders to server
     index.php
     swfobject.js
     cms.swf
     Entire ‘phpf/’ folder
     Create folder by name ‘files’
     
     
  4. Install MySQL table
     Run the INSTALL .php file. (Like this: http://www.my-site.com/client-manager/phpf/INSTALL.php)
     
     
  5. Done!
     
     

• How to change theme color

  
  
  
  1. Open your color theme .FLA
     Open one of the themes (green_theme.fla / blue_theme.fla) in the theme folder
     
     
  2. Copy entire library
     Highlight entire library, right click and copy
     
     
  3. Open cms.fla
     
     
  4. Paste library
     Right click inside the library (make sure you don’t right click on a folder, but in a empty space or on the movie clip root_bg) and paste
     
     
  5. Compile SWF
     Open cms.fla and compile it (CTRL + ENTER )
