This is a beautiful effect and I have purchased it. But I was wondering if you have any thoughts on how to reduce its resource use?

I was using it in a project and put two steam movieclips on the stage for a nice obvious steam effect but noticed that resource use went almost to 50%!.

So I removed one of the clips and dropped my framerate from 30 fps to 15 fps and it averages around 20% which still seems too high to me for a visual effect.

Is this because of the filters used? Any ideas on how this beautiful effect can be accomplished using a lots less resources?
