Collapsing Spring Navigation (XML)

Is there a way to make the menu collapse if you re – press the button? I.e. you press Main Navigation 1 and the sub menu opens you press it again and the sub menu closes.

that probably could be set up. would the content stay there? i kinda figured leaving things open would be a good indication of what you had clicked.

@victor – the urls can be set up in the xml pretty easily. however, they are not currently.

ok, but it means what ? Please, That I should create the attribute or the tag in the xml and code in AS or that everything is already planned but no link is written for the demonstration in Flashden ? Thanks

I bougth this file but it isn’t fla8 as indicated ! Impossible to open with fla8 ! It is not accused of CS3 either ! And then no link is prepared in the xml or code AS. I can’t use this file in these conditions ! I don’t know programmer. The lesser things would have been to prepare the links for those who know nothing and who trust the authors ! I expect a serious contribution and true file fla8 : jmarc2006@orange.fr Please, can you make for me a fla8 ans xml where the url links are already inside and works ? how many sub levels can be created in the xml?

simply change the script to load a swf or jpg or whatever you want. do you know how to do that?

why does it only have the hand over the sublinks on first nav and not other. Can this inconsistency be fixed

how can I disable linking from MAIN NAVIGATION ’S, and leave only subnavigation linkable? I tried to remove myURL=”” but it didn’t work.

if you look in the code there should be an onRelease code for the main links that is separate from the sub links.

look for: navClip.nav_mc.onRelease = function() {

and remove or rewrite the code that calls the url: loadContent(this._parent.myURL);
