Thank you for pointing out the bugs flashwind, I will fix these in an updated version.

To re-use the code for a custom design, you would need to:

• remove the functions and references to the scientific panel within the code (all of the objects are within their own MovieClip so it would be easy to find them).
• change the instance names within the code, such as the buttons and screen, to the instance name of your objects. Or just name the buttons and screen the same as they are in the code

Once that is done, the code will work for a basic calculator and custom design. If you need any help with this you can email me at: sarathijh@gmail.com

Calculator works great! Pretty easy to modify and lots of comments in the code!

It wouldn’t be too difficult if you know AS3 , it’s just copying the click event listeners to a new keyboard listener and checking which key was pressed.
