I am having a little trouble with the preloader and was wondering if you could help?

I dragged the preloader into a new movie, added a background image behind it as well as a logo above it (but on the layer below it). That was all in one scene, then in my next scene i created a new movie.

The problem i am having is that once the preloader does its thing, it goes to a blank screen. It won’t load the next scene. I have tried adding the movie from the next scene to the same scene as the preloader but I get the same problem.

I’d appreciate any input you can give me.
