Decent player

Hi! This player looks really cool!

But I can’t use because I don’t know how. There was no help files or instructions with the download, and I don’t know much about embedding flash or how it works at all. Do you have an example of how to use this player in a normale html code/site?

Now I just have one more thing -

is it possible to make the decent player only to start on demand, and not automatically?

Hi there! I downloaded your player and totally love it but I’ve come across one problem. It plays loops with a break.

I need only one song to be played and its a loop so everytime it goes back to the beginning there’s a clicking sound.

Can you fix that?

Hi there, I just purchased your mp3 player. How do I place this in my index html file and have it play throughout my website without restarting the song every time you click to go to a different page? thank you.

Ok nevermind my question above, but I have a similar question. I’m building my whole website in flash. But I want this mp3 player to be on every page of my website without restarting when the user clicks to another page (for example, if they are on the homepage and then click on the contact page button, I don’t want the song to restart)...how would I go about doing that. Should I make my website in scenes? ah, help!

Hey Mike, The design for the player looks great but Maybe you could lend a hand….

The player is saying the song is “loading…” and never starts playing

the mp3 files are about 4 mb.

I put the song in the same folder that the xlm file is located & also changed the extension in the xlm document to match the location for the mp3 file.

What is going on?

It is a decent player indeed. However it doesn work. The song plays, but the song name is not displayed. I tried everything to get the song name out with not success. Anyone had this heppen to them as well. I use CS5 , not sure if this makes difference..

Hi mike_kj, Were you able to look at my files I emailed you? The song title is not displayed from the XML file. I tried it with the original files i downloaded and got the same result. I appreciate your help on this.

It doesn’t work. I tried to get some help for over a month now, but no change. The XML still is not working. Gonna have to give this 1 star. Sorry bud. Please notify me if this file has been fixed and updated here on activeden.

I purchased your player and I have it working on my site on Dreamweaver but it says undefined on the net. How do I fix this issue. I love the player though.

Hi, I just purchased your mp3 player and i can’t get it to work. I uploaded the decent-player file folder to my root and embed the xml file on the page i want the player to be on. i set up the url on both the site page and decent-player fold the same in the right path but the only thing i am getting is the name of url path and name of song on my web page.

What am i doing wrong? Thx
