I love this….great job. Can you set however many currencies you want…..like just have dollar, euro and Sterling?

I don’t understand the Q ?.

It’s on the button right click then you will see all 18 PayPal currency’s and customer will select his preference currency(PayPal support only 18 countries) the right click can hold up to 15 currency’s this is flash limitation. Also there is no problem to make your preference currency at start by default.

If you meant the actual symbol of the currency i can do that easily, the problem is that there is only about 5-6 symbol currency like Euro Sterling and some are dollars but there are some countries that don’t have a symbol. Again PayaPal support only 18 countries and you have it all in this button.

Or you can make 1 currency you like and disable the right click, see help file how to do it

Don’t worry i didn’t forget the Hungarian its there you just need to replace it with other country.

From this preview i left out the Hungarian, Polish, and Singapore it was just random nothing more

Outstanding idea, tsafi! Is it possible to add more than 15 currencies into the right-click menu? Not that 15 aren’t more than enough

AFAIK , The FlashPlayer context menu is limited to a number of 15 contextMenu items. Of course, I might be wrong

Anyways, I really like your idea, I think I’ll buy this soon (I don’t buy an item unless it’s really, REALLY amazing ... I only bought 3 so far)

Thanks Deni As i say to eirehotspur the 15 contextMenu is the Max this is by default flash limitation. There is a very complex way to make actual sub menu on the contextMenu but i am not breaking my head for the 3 extra currency and on AS2 no thanks (: .

There is also an upgrade/update on my AS3 version that coming soon, over there i add actual disabling on the contextMenu when you click the currency its disabling the currency on the actual contextMenu + I add more function on the AS3 version that will not be available on the AS2 version, so i think the AS3 version will be one the most advance smaller PayPal button over the web (:. No I meant as I live in Ireland I would like customers to only pay me in Euro (Euro customers), Sterling (UK Customers) or Dollars (US Customers).

I would not ship to the other countries and would like to be paid in certain currencies.

Sounds like to do this is impossible with your App?

No problem you can set it to only 3 currencies if you want (Euro, Sterling Dollars) using the right click just erase the relevant code see help file . You can ask my for help also only 2 minuets of adjustment

Where do I set the default currency? It is fixed to USD now and can’t seem to find the code where to change this… Is this not a parameter we can change?

I tried making the change and opened the “currency_mc” Rec thingy in the elements pop folder of the fla. I can’t see much else but a block and see 45 frames in total…

I changed the fla to fit our needs without editting the original (copy). Can I send it to you so you can make EUR the default selected curreny? Please mail me at admin@mpcclub.com and i will reply with the FLA file.
