One of the best rotators here. Love the transitions. Can’t quite figure out if you can open link from clicking on the images?

Nice File.

Can you add links on images? That would make it a better seller.

Tendentially I’m not attracted by links on images, also because there are already some ways to do it inside the caption. It’s an update I can do, anyway.

I’m another fan of having the option to click on a picture that will link to another page.

Can this be updated soon? I will wait.

thanks

Hi Albo, loving the Image slider. Quick question I’m having a little trouble.

I would like when persons click on the image (not the text) that they stay in my site versus a new window pop up.

I edited the MultiSlider.as file and changed it from getURL(imgUrl, “_blank”); to getURL(imgUrl, “_parent”); I even tried _self but that didn’t work.

Even though this change was made the window still pops up. Can you help? The client would really like to go live with the site ASAP and you’re assistance would be much appreciated.

I can send you an email with the website address to your email if required.

Thanks

Hi, you should put inside the GetURL something like “javascript:myPopUp ecc. ecc. ...”

Google it.

Hi Albo with all due respect I was hoping as creator of the file that you would have ‘quick fix’that could resolve my problem. I did do some checking even before you asked me to “Google”, I was stumped hence I seeking your help.

Thanks

p.s. For the record i’m not a flash programmer nor a flash designer

Try this inside the xml node:

<imgItem imgName="images/1.jpg" urlImg="javascript:NewWindow=window.open('<a href="http://activeden.net','newWin','width=400,height=300,left=0,top=0,toolbar=No,location=No,scrollbars=No,status=No,resizable=No,fullscreen=No');NewWindow.focus();void(0);">">http://activeden.net','newWin','width=400,height=300,left=0,top=0,toolbar=No,location=No,scrollbars=No,status=No,resizable=No,fullscreen=No');NewWindow.focus();void(0);"></a>

To open the popup window correctly:

xml file:

<imgItem imgName="images/1.jpg" urlImg="javascript:NewWindow=window.open('<a href="http://activeden.net','newWin','width=400,height=300,left=0,top=0,toolbar=No,location=No,scrollbars=No,status=No,resizable=No,fullscreen=No');">http://activeden.net','newWin','width=400,height=300,left=0,top=0,toolbar=No,location=No,scrollbars=No,status=No,resizable=No,fullscreen=No');</a>  NewWindow.focus();void(0);">

inside the Multislider.as class find all the 2 statements of

getURL(imgUrl, "_blank");

and replace them with

getURL(imgUrl, "_self");

Your steps to opening in _self don’t appear to work, they still open in a new window. Any ideas? I can’t use this otherwise even though I really like the transitions.

Open info > iome > Multislider.as then find the two lines of code with

getURL(imgUrl, "_blank");

and replace it in

getURL(imgUrl, "_self");
