This is a great transition – I’m using it as an “intro” in a project right now.

Can you shed some light on how I could use this for multiple images in a photo gallery type setup? I’d really like to use this as the transition between images but am not sure where I should begin.

Thanks!

I’m new to AS3 and Flash and can’t get dynamic image draw to work. Based on the supplied instructions I copied the Flash component icon found in the top-left corner of the supplied flash file’s stage and then pasted it into my main movie at a specified keyframe. I’ve ensured that the fla and xml file are in the same working directory as my main movie. I also edited the xml file to reference my jpg image correctly. When I run my movie, I don’t see the effect, just a graphic of the icon itself.

The error I receive is:

“Symbol ‘_box”,Layer ‘Actions’ Frame 1, Line 10: 1151: A conflict exists with definition img in namespace internal. var img:MovieClip = this.img”

I’ve looked at this line in the AS of the mc, but don’t know what to do.

Any idea of why this is happening?

Thanks!

Hi there. Love the effect – but how do I position it at a specific co-ordinate?

Thanks

@yinka007: It isn’t a slideshow, so it doesn’t allow multiple images…

Is there anyone who would be interested in helping me adopt this so that it will operate on an internal image, i.e.as part of a self-contained .swf, rather than loading from XML ?

I have written to the author twice and have received no response.

Thanks, Paul

Hi I’m not great at flash, and I can tell that this project doesn’t support an image gallery. However, I paid for the app but want to use it for a gallery. I was hoping that I would be able to adjust the xml, but apparently this is not the case. Could you please help me by submitting some way of making this code work for a gallery. Thanks
