Dynamic Mp3 Player 2

I hope it picks up the MP3 ID3 info automatically from the mp3 file and i dont need to specify those in the xml.

if you could answer some of my questions before i go and grab ur player, it’d be great…

1. xml node sequence defines the playlist sequence too? 2. can you disclose the xml schema before I get it or just the fields that’re required? this will help me in setting up my database and deciding whether this player fits or not… 3. cs3 edits this?

no issues dude.. help me a bit.. i tried editing this, and have revamped it entirely but whenever i get down to edit mcTItle for a better font/color combo, entire title vanishes.

m not a flash expert so cudnt guess, trying easy way out to ask you. I’m sure that its cuz the font you’ve used is not in my comp, but even when i change font to verdana or some system font it doesnt work..

could you help pls?

You need to embed the font in Flash, as you can see I’m using it with the * after the name.

I really like your player, but when I went into the fla to change the var startPlaying:Boolean to “False”, it changed all the fonts (made them tiny).

I figured out how to change the Standard 07 55, but the Standard 09 65 is now invisible. Could you help me with this?

can resolution be easily changed, I’m especially interested in width, would like to make it smaller, is that possible?

Using this in a Wordpress Blog with permalinks set up.

Suppose my URL for blog is: http://domainame.com/blog/name-of-post and that I’m embeding here the code for the player located on the root: http://domainname.com/player.swf

When I publish the post I get the “undefined” error, which I suppose, is due to the player being searching for http://domainame.com/blog/name-of-post/mp3.xml and not: http://domainame.com/mp3.xml as it SHOULD .

Do you have any advice / confirm this the problem?

The solution is only to edit the .fla? That sounds silly IMHO . The flash code should be looking for the xml in the same folder as the swf or in other way let people set the xml whithout change any .fla
