Dynamic MP3 Player (AS2)

The password is a hidden password used to set the ID3 info for the songs (if you are using the php loading method).

If you’re using the php loading method, the php should pull the ID3 data from the songs and populate the player. Though, sometimes you may want to change some of that info, or sometimes the version of ID3 tags used in the MP3 is not the same version my php script reads, so no information shows up.

In order to edit that info, make sure you have the flash piece focused in and quickly type your password (there isn’t any particular place to type, you just start typing).

If the password is correct, and it’s typed fast enough the player will go into “edit mode”. You can then click on a particular field and change the info. In order to save that info you need to hit the “enter” key after changing it (for each individual field). To exit edit mode, either re-type the password again quickly (no fields should be selected at this time) or just refresh your browser.

If your permissions are set correctly on your server (777) the ID3 info should now be permanently saved to the MP3 ’s that you modified.
