Dynamic unlimited xml thumbnails viewer

Ok, well I simply made a new entry in the xml called swf, and added swf_ary to the actionscript under id 4 and every place that url_ary was. Now the code looks like this where geturl use to be on the on release of the button action.

this.video.loadMovie(swf_ary[this._parent.id]);

It doesn’t work…

sorry, not id 4 but childnode 4

swf_ary[i] = xml_total[i].childNodes⁴.childNodes⁰.nodeValue;

Oh, actually the link isn’t sitting in CDATA . That’s for the list view. My bad. Can’t understand why this isn’t working then.

NVM . I got it working by myself. If anyone needs to load a movie instead of a url from the buttons, let me know and I’ll help you.

Recently purchased DYNAMIC UNLIMITED XML THUMBNAIL . I need help with the xml file. When i click on it I would like for it to open in a new browser so that the original window sits behind. I would appreciate the help.

@orangecouchdesigngroup. if you mean click the image then open the new browser window. please open the actiosncript. find the line 353 code like this:
getURL( url_ary [ this._parent.id ] , “_self ” ) ;
change it as :
getURL(url_ary[this._parent.id], “_blank ” ) ;

How can I get special characters to show up. I already embedded all the special characters in to flash but it’s not working. Here are the characters I am referring to. áâæçèéêíóúÁÂÃÀÇÉÊÍÓÔÕÚ

hello! I was hoping if you could tell me how to remove the link feature? I’ve been able to disable it from the title text by editing the XML file and removing the link from the title, but I would also like to remove it from the thumbnail also? please help!!

It seems like this would work, but it doesn’t:

NVM . I didn’t have this.parent.id in there, so that’s why it wasn’t working. It works like a charm now.

wangruyi, is such a great programmer. And his support is the best I have seen! Anytime I have a question he answers within 24 hours. I just bought this xml thumbnails viewer and will let you all know how it goes in a few days. Going to try to integrate it into my flash website template.
