This is a basic problem. I copied the menu into my swf file but the menu blinks. I do not see the menu on the timeline 1-10) but it shows up on the timeline at 11 then disappears when the swf starts over. Is there an easy solution?

Hello DS. I have purchased your Advanced XML Website Template and I would like to add this Dynamic Vert Scrolling Menu component in place of, or replace, the Acordian Style Menu that is in your Website Template. I just have too much stuff in our site, as far as menu items are concerned, that a scrolling menu would probably make it better…

So, what would I need to do to get it into my (Advanced XML ) website?

In my index.xml (for my website), I see the “nav” section has all the menu, and sub-menu, code items. Would I just have to replace all this with the scrolling menus’ xml code? What about the .fla’s…??? The accordian menu is in the index.fla (which is the main website). Do I have to modify this file? Do you have some ready made instructions on adding your scrolling menu into new websites and incorporating it into existing ones…??? Let me know ASAP please.

Point above: 4) To link the buttons to frame labels on your stage, go the bttn_mc Movieclip and view actions on the Bttn layer. Remove the comment ”//”

For Example: _root.gotoAndStop(menuName);

menuName would be a frame label on your stage.

Alternatively you could link to a target movieclip on your stage. For Example: _root.content_mc.gotoAndStop(menuName);

This will link to frame labels within the content_mc MovieClip which is on your stage. BELOW IS THE ONLY WAY I COULD GET IT TO WORK FOR NOW :: The more informative you are with your code help.txt the less msgs you would receive! but thanks for an awesome menu

This component runs infinetly if it has a lot of items (over 100)... Keeps runing up and down…

Hello, great file. Already have it I hade a simple but important question!

How can I link the 20 buttons of the menu with 20 swf’s that will be loaded on a “holder”?

I dont wanna link them to the stage or anything else, just that each on of the buttons load a swf movie on a central content of my website.
