Dynamic XML Portfolio Gallery for images and SWF

there seems to be a problem with playing flvs…...i have several swfs that play flvs

but they don’t play

is there a solution?

I need the central image area to be fixed, so the images load into an area instead of the current way it works with various sizes?

you wrote that it can be done via: you can determine a ‘_width’ and ‘_height’ statements.

since i have limited knowledge in programming can you write out the code exactly as well as what i have to remove…..

Hello there

I am looking to purchase this item …it is for my photos of my daughter’s wedding, so there will be a zillion photos to managge.

Is it possible to place one swf file on each of FOUR web pages ?

It s just that I want each web page to reflect a section of the wedding … viz: pre-wedding, the ceremony, reception, and celebration(just to put you in the picture)

If this does not come as standard, then I am (reasonably) familiar with Flash 8, and some AS.

Hi, I just purchased this gallery the other day and I have a couple of questions.

Can I use this as a complete website? My concern however is content for search engines. How would I get around that.

Can I remane it Portfolio and embed it in my portfolio.html page?

I tried adding a file that I crested from the template but it doesn’t play so I’m confused i just get a black background screen.

Can you help?

I was looking through some of the comments from others and would also like to have an auto play but still with the feature that allows someone to click on a specific picure and stop the auto play. Is this possible?

Also is it possible to have the descriptions display automatically and then have the person click “close” once they are finished reading?

I’ve loaded a swf file in the gallery, but it plays so fast, no matter the frame rate when publishing the original .fla file. What I’m doing wrong?

lovin’ your file. Simply what I needed.

I am trying to modificate your script and I wonder how to insert the tween-class for the transition between the images.

I think it will be a little bit tricky because your script is asking for alpha before loading the next image (or something like that ;P).

I have installed the files (swf, flash files, js file..) to the root of the folder that contains several “pages” (html files)...I want to use this so that each page will use a different xml so that they have their own photos and menus. However, I’m having trouble figuring out how to do that. I can’t find where the XML file is being referenced. Is this something that is in the .fla files? Or, is there some recommended way to do this?
