Easy Extendable Waves

Hi sheldonevans, apoligies for the delayed reply, I’ve been on holiday.

If you are referring to the ’.fla’ file, it needs to be opened with Flash Professional CS4 or later. But I assure you that you are not losing out on anything if you only have Flash Professional CS3 , all it contains is a working example (which features exactly the same code as in the readme.pdf) and the same PNG background as what was in the preview you saw here on activeden.net. All you need to do is follow the instructions to set up your actionscript 3.0 project in CS3 , nothing will be different.

The file you bought was intended to be used as a class for creating your own waves. The SWF that was bundled in the files you downloaded was never meant to be the one that you would use in your website. To edit this SWF , you will need Flash Professional CS4 or later (you can download a 60 day free trial of CS5 ). When you open the file ending in ’.fla’ you can delete the background and resize the SWF to your suiting. Then you publish the project and the SWF will be updated.
