How to add more Image Leafs
1 – Double click easyLeafGenerator movie clip
2 – Change code line #26
var wichLeaf:Number = random(3)+1;
instead of 3 write the new numbers of leaf you need.
3 – Import a new image.
4 – In the Assets Folder (easyLeafGeneratorAssets) add a new leaf_MC movie clip and inside it put the imported image.
5 -Rename it to leaf4_MC, leaf5_MC as many as you need.
6 – Right click the movie click from the library, click advance and check export for action script check that the identifier name has this form “leafNumberofLeaf_MC” example for a fourth leaf would be leaf4_MC.
7 – Thats it!
1 -I Have uploaded a new update now you can add more leaves in easier way.
Just add a new frame and an image to the leaf_MC movieclip from the library.
2 – Also an AS3 version is coming (AS2 + AS3 in one purchase for the same price)

hello,
copy leaf animation to another flash file. this movie can be return first frame and load again. extract swf and html file open the html file which is the creating from flash wait 5min and you will see faulty all leaves are closer and mixed. animation is too slow.
I guess there is a one interval timer still working

Hi The easy leaf generator update is ready for download!
The Flash will not unload with usuall action script 2 parameters.

clearInterval(leaf_MC.intervalID); stops it from falling it doesn’t remove the component.
You cannot remove a movie clip that was not created dynamically. You could put an empty frame in the layer where the leafGenerator is at certain time.

I did some research and found this. You can actually remove a not dynamically created movieclip, but first you need to change its depth.
Try this:
leaf_MC.swapDepths(22);
leaf_MC.removeMovieClip();

Trying to get this to animate “behind” other objects placed in the flash file. Even though it is placed on the bottom layer … it animates ontop of the flash file when published.
Is there a way to “mask” this?
